With a strong commitment to the industry, and a range of new goverment projects we are excited to offer a Senior Structural Design Engineers full-time employment.
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with experience in high-rise residential and commercial engineering, with the capability of working on other related engineering work such as government supervision work. This person will poss strong project management skills to run the Residential and commercial division and support other graduate Structural Engineers through a graduate program.
Requirements for Structural Engineers,
- Application of relevant Australian Codes, Standards and Practices.
- Must be able to read and understand architectural plans, communicate with builders and provide design solutions to meet clients' requirements.
- Must be a Member of Engineers Australia MIEAust, chartered engineer status is highly advantageous but not required. no student members permitted.
- Have worked in a Residential Engineering firm for a minimum 5 years with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Site inspection experience, Floortech Truss systems, Concrete suspended slabs, etc.
- Government project management or supervision experience, such as Public Transport Authority or Main Roads.
- Software – Spacegass, SLB, REVIT, Microsoft Suits, AutoCAD (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Revu
- White card
- C-class drivers License
- Working at heights
- Must have Australian working rights, local permanent residents are highly desirable
