The role
Due to growth within their Surface Water division with several large scale projects about to land in Brisbane, they are currently searching for an experienced Water Engineer to run the Surface Water component projects within QLD.
Working closely with the QLD roads and rail teams, this role will work across a range of projects in Brisbane and occasionally nationally, and will work with a growing team of Designers and Engineers.
You will produce and oversee / manage the Surface Water parts on a range of projects including large scale projects across roads, rail, commercial and government sectors.
The responsibilities
- Lead Surface Water component of large projects
- Mentorship of younger team
- Project management
- Coordination with national water team
- Site visits
- Client interface
The requirements
- Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Experience in Surface Water / Hydrology modeling
- Expert or extensive working knowledge of TUFLOW is essential
- Interest in client facing
- Desire to take a lead and run projects
