Senior Surveyor

This permanent opportunity is based at the Nerang office and is predominately office-based focusing on managing and auditing surveying contractor services, ensuring services meet all objectives through the phases of engineering project cycles.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities required:- Significant experience performing and auditing complex survey jobs- Provide authoritative advice on engineering survey, photogrammetry and other geospatial information acquisition issues- Experience preparing project specifications, plans and drawings and the management and preparation of open market bids and internal offers- Contract management experience, including the ability to manage contractor work standards and practices ensuring contract performance- Ability and willingness to independently perform a small amount of specialised survey field work, outside of normal business hours- Proven experience successfully managing stakeholders and the management of expectations and issues of all parties
Mandatory qualifications:- A minimum of a three or four-year surveying degree based on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 7 or higher- Registration as a 'Surveyor' with the Surveyors Board of Queensland, or the ability to submit an application within 12 months of appointment- Queensland 'C' class driver's licence (manual preferred).
