About CASA
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is a government body that regulates aviation safety in Australia.
We license pilots, register aircraft, oversee aviation safety and promote safety awareness. We also make sure that the aviation community and the public use and administer Australian airspace safely.
In July 1995, we were established as an independent statutory authority. We operate within a legislative framework made up of acts, regulations, associated legislative instruments and guidance material.

The Division
The Corporate Service Division contributes to aviation safety by enhancing CASA's capability, capacity and service delivery. We are responsible for:
· human resource functions, including workforce planning
· regulatory and technical training and professional development
· governance oversight and coordination across the organisation
· managing productive working relationships with the Minister’s Office and other government agencies
· information technology services
· business improvement and change management
· portfolio management and service delivery transformation program

· The Senior Technical Administrator is at the forefront of CASA’s exciting and all-encompassing cloud program and on-going support. Reporting to the Solutions Capability Team Leader, the Senior Technical Administrator is the senior technical authority within the Solutions Capability Team. In this role you will be providing technical expertise and guidance in system administration for the effective delivery and management of CASA’s strategic objectives. You will work autonomously and in collaboration with others across the wider Information Technology Branch to deliver the system administration functions of CASA systems, providing support to internal and external clients.
