About the role:

The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, testing and repairs to systems and networks utilised by the Benedict Group of Companies. You will assist the team in the development of a business wide infrastructure plan and apply your knowledge to formulate strategies for systems implementation, development, improvement, and data security. You will primarily be based in our Belrose Head office, and the scope of this position extends to all sites within the Benedict Group of Companies and involves travelling to various sites on occasion.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working collaboratively with outside vendors, other departments, upper management and leadership to ensure smooth IT processes
• Contributing to strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
• Driving the operation of the IT Support function
• Performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources and systems
• Maintaining the highest level of cyber security across the company’s infrastructure using all tools available, including but not limited to Mimecast and Carbon Black
• Regular site visits across the greater Sydney region to maintain, repair and improve existing networks and IT infrastructure.
• Conducting regular system audits, analysing and presenting any findings

The successful applicant will have experience in the following:

• A minimum of Cert IV in Information Technology
• Proven experience for a minimum of 3 years in a Senior Systems Administration position or similar
• Office365 administration and SharePoint
• Networking administration including Fortinet Firewalls and Unifi access points and switches
• Systems protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Familiarity using business intelligence reporting tools such as Jet Report and/or Power BI
• WasteEdge software
• Salesforce
• Avaya Clouds Office
