Description

This role is a permanent, full-time position reporting to the IT Ops Manager. You will be responsible for project delivery and infrastructure improvements with a focus on Azure architecture, on-premises Datacentres, Networks, Virtualisation and more.

Technical Solutions Project Delivery

• Creating business cases and developing project plans
• Conducting project review and creating detailed project status reports
• Managing project progress and adapt work as required
• Participating in tender process, design, submission and review
• Transitioning projects to operations teams
• Delivering infrastructure projects
  • Azure Compute, network, storage and security
  • Infrastructure migrations, cloud, and on-premises
  • Unified communications and contact centre systems
  • Legacy system replacement
  • Network improvements and redesigns
  • Backup and disaster recovery improvements
  • Cyber security improvements
  • Office moves and new sites setup

Information and Cyber Security

Assist, as directed by the information security lead, with securing the organisation's information from cyber risks through identifying, and responding to cyber risks by:

• Engaging in cyber reviews of all new systems and solutions.
• Assisting in identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities
• Ensuring the integrity and security of the environment.

Profile

Required:

• Microsoft Identity Platform, SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID, RADIUS, LDAP
• Entra ID and Active Directory
• VMware vSphere
• Azure and AWS compute and network design
• Delivering complex infrastructure projects and improvements

Desired:

• Experience implementing and designing Azure landing Zones
• Network design and Architecture, LAN WAN
• DR and BCP design and implementation
• Web Application Firewall's, F5 and Cloudflare
• Cisco and Merki network implementation
• Consuming API and configuring integration with SaaS environments
• Automation, Ansible and PowerShell scripting
• Technical design and document writing
• Data Centre Compute and Storage technologies

Qualifications:

Required:

• Microsoft Azure associate or expert level certification

Desired:

• Microsoft MCSE
• VMware VCP
• Cisco CCNP
• Cisco Meraki
• AWS Qualifications
• University degree or diploma in information technology, computer science or related discipline
• ITIL foundations level training and knowledge

Job Offer

-Attractive annual base salary between $135,000 - $150,000 + 11% superannuation.
-Hybrid working environment (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)

For this position we are open to considering candidates who may need to relocate from another location within Australia.
