The Opportunity:

Liebherr-Australia is seeking a dynamic Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to take charge of crucial recruitment goals whilst building their own to team to support the business nationally and make a real difference.

Reporting to the National HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with business leaders to understand national recruitment requirements whilst the business prepares for significant expansion nationally.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment and sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates and fill vacancies across the company.
  • Engage with hiring managers to distil resourcing requirements. 
  • Create job postings that are creative and engaging to attract top talent.
  • Manage the recruitment process and activities such as resume screening, phone screening, interviews, reference checks, and developing job descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidates, talent pools, and the hiring process.
  • Work with Employer Branding and Communications Associate to implement an internet and social media strategy campaign to ensure Liebherr Australia is appropriately positioned in the market.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to support the management of our recruitment requisitions.
  • Assist the HR team with other HR duties as required.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Recruitment/Senior Talent Acquisition Role.
  • Diploma qualification or above in Human Resource Management or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience formulating, developing, implementing and evaluating Talent Acquisition plans, policies, projects and strategies.
  • Strong prior experience in a similar role providing recruitment advice and expertise on Talent Acquisition strategies and sourcing techniques.
  • Experience in providing advice to executives and senior managers, requiring confidentiality and a high attention to detail.
  • Experience in using recruitment systems and platforms.
  • Practical experience to successfully coordinate workforce management strategies in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to build candidate and stakeholder relationships.
