What’s the job?
Reporting to Head of Talent, Meaghan Massie, the Sr. Talent Development Advisor plays a pivitol role in is planning, coordination, and facilitation of various training and development programs within Australia and New Zealand. This autonomous role requires a dynamic individual who can balance learning management administration and coordination with flawless, engaging facilitation of programs. In this role you will find yourself to be an expert navigator, influencer and creator as collaborate with internal (both local and global) teams to implement impactful staff development programs. You will also support on the coordination and administration related to strategic Organisational Development projects such as talent reviews, performance and development cycles and employee engagement. Plus, you will get a chance to work with a global team on rolling out initiatives from our parent company, Strategic Education Inc.
In order to make Torrens Global Education a place where our staff feel learning is valued the key responsibilities of this role will be:
Promoting and engaging staff in learning opportunities
Upkeep of learning management system
Supporting learning enquiries from the business and HR Business Partners
Coordination, planning and execution of learning events/programs such as running the new starter Orientation sessions, coordinating Elevate Leadership program launching later in the year
Facilitation of lunch and learn style sessions for employees across our campuses
Facilitation of leadership development programs
Administration related to Learning and Org Development
This is a permanent full time role based in Sydney OR Adelaide Campus.
Who you are:
Based in Sydney or Adelaide, you are someone who is more organised than a Swiss watch, who embraces technology to work efficiently and effectively. You like having a problem or puzzle to solve and approach all things with optimism and a growth mindset. You would pride yourself in having these skills and experiences:
Strong facilitation and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate leadership development programs
Highly proficient use of technology including MS Office Suite (in particular sharepoint, powerpoint and teams)
Proficient in the use of virtual meeting technology (a zoom supestar!)
Coordination, project management or campaign management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
Good understanding of learning and Talent Development frameworks
The ability to work and foster diverse, accessible and inclusive training and development initiatives
