The nature of the role:
- Preparation of Tax Returns & Financial Statements.
- Preparation and delivery of Tax Planning and Tax Saving Advice.
- Business Structure Reviews, preparation of Budgets and Monitoring Reports for Quarterly and Annual General Meetings.
- Have an excellent understanding of Xero, QBO and MYOB.
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively liaise with our clients.
- Become the second contact for the current client base.
- You will be key in the training and mentoring of new staff.
- Help shape and improve the processes and systems within the business.

About You:
- You are a driven accountant and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in public practice.
- You have either completed or are currently completing your CPA/CA.
- You are a people person and willing to help your clients and team.
- You prefer small dynamic teams compared to being a cog in a big machine.
- You are honest and want to do the right thing by people.
- You are able to communicate complex ideas and make them simple.
- You thrive on being the trusted advisor to business owners.
- You take pride in your work and have attention to detail.
- You are a problem solver and can identify opportunities.
- You love a challenge.
- You are self-motivated.

Tait Accounting & Business Advisory is an accounting firm that focuses on servicing clients that operate businesses in North Queensland. We have a strong and loyal client base that are made up of growth focused businesses. We not only complete traditional accounting work but also engage in and have a high focus on business advisory work.
