The Role:
We are looking for an Outstanding Intermediate to Senior Public/Tax Accountant who is ready to take their skills to the next level and be a part of our rapidly growing Accounting firm.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you will meet the following criteria:
- Comfortably manage a portfolio of clients providing quality financial data
- Coming from a strong accounting background in a similar position minimum 2 years
- Previous experience of Xero & Google
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent Balance Sheet understanding and reconciliation skills
- Strong understanding of tax law and the application to Companies/Trusts/Partnerships and Individuals
- Comfortably produce clear financial reports
- Attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in hospitality, or a love of eating & dining out is a big PLUS
Responsibilities:
- Balancing end of Financial year reports
- Provide regular financial reports (monthly and yearly)
- Analysing changes in client financial performance & preparation for client meetings
- Review of completed Activity Statements
- Prepare tax planning options for clients - We have a unique way of doing our tax planning which is refreshing for both Employees and clients
