Let's talk about this role
As the Senior Tax Analyst, you will be a key part of the Group Tax team. The role is integral in adding value to nib's tax function through providing support across all areas of tax.

Working alongside the Senior Tax Manager and Group Head of Tax, the role plays a key part in ensuring that the group's tax compliance obligations, risk framework and governance are met and applied appropriately. You'll also have the opportunity to partner with the broader nib business on a variety of projects. This is an exciting time to join nib, as it continues its growth strategy both in Australia and internationally. As part of the Group Tax team, you'll add value to the business through providing commercially sound advice across a broad scope of tax areas.

Areas of responsibility include:

• Income Tax
• GST/VAT
• FBT
• Employment taxes
• Stamp duty

Let's talk about you
The successful candidate for this role will have tertiary qualifications in finance/law and CA qualification along with experience within public practice or in house tax function of a large corporation, across multiple areas of tax.

You consider yourself a self-starter, with the ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across broad aspects of a business.

Furthermore, we're looking for:

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles
• Ability and desire to work across multiple teams and business areas
• Curiosity and initiative; ability to proactively identify and solve problems
• Desire to learn and build a career
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Exposure to international taxes (desired)
