The Company
Our client is an established, family owned accounting practice that has been in operation for 25+years. Conveniently located next toBondi Junctiontrain station, they provide business services, as well taxation and financial advice to a diverse SME client base.
They are currently looking for a Senior Business Services & Tax Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types including trusts, companies, partnerships, SMSF’s and individuals
• BAS and IAS preparation
• Working closely with partners and senior management on specialist

taxation matters * Assist in the management of client relationships

• Reviewing the work of junior accounting staff
• Assist in the training of junior staff

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years taxation and accounting experience
• Hold relevant professional certifications
• Strong communication skills
• High proficiency using Xero
• A strong working knowledge of Tax Acts and other relevant legislation
• Effectively manage competing tasks and able to work to deadlines
