Senior Tax Accountant - Indirect

About the role
A rare and exciting opportunity within a multinational Infrastructure organisation has arisen to fill a key role in their indirect taxation team. This individual will take ownership of group wide FBT and LAFHA related items.The responsibilities
Reporting into the Group Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Be one of the key members of a large, centralized tax team of a multinational large infrastructure group
• Manage preparation of FBT Returns for various, diversified entities within the group.
• Liaise with the business units and collect relevant FBT data.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the business units and associates.
• Manage the LAFHA process within the group.
• Provide accurate and reliable tax advice to the business units.
• Manage preparation and review of income tax returns of joint venture.
• Analise and review tax sensitive GL transactions
• Manage reconciliation of tax accounts
• Continuously improve and automate FBT and other tax processes.
• Assist the Group Tax manager with various tax related projects and process improvements.

The successful applicant will haveIdeally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. 3-5 years exposure to a similar position within a relevant, project-based industry is desirable. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and autonomously. There is a travel requirement for this role.Additional benefits
