A great opportunity for a qualified Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health professional to join a large growing Federal Government in an advisory capacity, on a 12-month temporary assignment.About the role:
- We are currently looking for Healthcare specialists with Qualifications within the OT, Mental Health and Nursing Field that are looking for opportunities to apply their knowledge to provide specialised advice on Disability Insurance plans at a Federal Government Level.
- You will be an experienced professional with a breadth of knowledge in your field, specifically related to case management of complex cases.
- You will be passionate about applying your skills and knowledge to better improve the level of service provided to the community.
- Your experience will be of a professional experienced level that will enable you to provide clinical and operational advice and support that will assist in the successful delivery of planning decisions and access decision making for disability participants.
- Working within the realm of your expertise, you will provide subject matter expertise and advice to achieve participant outcomes.
- You will use your research and investigative skills to work on caseloads to deliver efficient and consistent decisions making outcomes.
- You will assist others in the organisation as a Subject Matter expert in your space to assist with the resolution on reviews and appeals claims.
- As part of a highly professional team, you will assist in the formation of high quality written and telephone advice and responses as required.

- You will have proven experience in providing accurate and specialised advice
- You will have extensive knowledge in compliance with relevant legislation and policy frameworks and how to apply it to technical requirements.
- You will have experience in performing research and analysis to make decisions that involve complex or escalated issues
- You will ideally bring with you experience in Policy within a Public Sector Organisation
- ASAP start (pending Federal Police Check)
- 12-month temporary assignment
- Full time hours Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours per day
- Melbourne, Brisbane and Midland WA locations
- $60.26 per hour + super
