About the opportunity:

We're currently seeking a Senior Technical Services Officer to join our dynamic team of professionals within the School of Nursing and Midwifery. As the Senior Technical Services Officer, you'll have a pivotal role in:

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of dedicated laboratories in accordance with established operational and safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Services Coordinator to deliver efficient and effective technical support for the Disciplines of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Supervise the safe operation of dedicated laboratories and oversee the implementation of standard operating procedures, risk management processes, and health and safety protocols.

To be considered for this opportunity, you are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Nursing, Midwifery or related discipline), relevant experience providing technical support in an academic or research environment and proven experience in managing laboratory operations.
