About the role
UGL Telecommunications, part of the Services Division is seeking applications from experienced Senior Project Engineers for a full-time permanent position. Based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane this position will report to the Project Manager and will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of wireless infrastructure projects.
In this role you will engage telecommunications suppliers to deliver multiple components of the build, requiring strong technical background, excellent project management skills and the ability tow ork effectively with cross-functional teams.
About You
You will draw on your diverse skills and previous experience to create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- Experienced in planning, scheduling, delivering and monitoring of projects
- Experience in a similar role within Wireless Construction Projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Telecommunication related field
- Demonstrated previous leadership experience
- Ability to work effective in a team environment and promote positive behaviours
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new systems and processes
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain internal and external relationships
- Ability to work autonomously, maintain confidentiality and organise / prioritise demands
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated high level of negotiation and influencing skills
