Opportunity for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to be responsible for driving testing outcomes within a core functional team for the Tech Simplification Program. In this 18 month fixed term contract you will be part of a program that will modernise platforms and applications that we use daily to provide a cohesive, more integrated user experience which will support RBA's strategic platform.
As part of this role, you will strongly focus on Infrastructure testing to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all testing related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling, and outputs, whilst working in the team.
Your background
Senior Test analyst with hands-on experience in the infrastructure testing who understands various test phases and can apply QA processes in the infrastructure testing. The ideal candidate should be an adaptive learner, understand the existing application & infrastructure landscape and start contributing positively to the project.
To be successful in this critical role you will possess:
- Experience in performing Infrastructure testing activities for large IT Infrastructure projects.
- Create and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Summary reports that appropriately address the risk and complexity of the IT Infrastructure program.
- Testing experience of IT Networking changes including on-prem/cloud connectivity checks, Firewall rules, Bandwidth verification and Routing.
- Testing of WAN, Wi-Fi services, Data-centre networks, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Prior hands-on working knowledge on testing SD-WAN changes or large organizations network implementations is highly desirable.
- Testing of IP Address Management tools implementation such as Infoblox.
- Good Understanding of DNS services, DHCP components, server monitoring & alerting, server security & backup services.
- Validation of Windows servers configurations, and various server management testing activities.
- Testing of Linux/Windows/SQL servers OS upgrades and OS patching automation processes that use tools such as Puppet. Similarly, host/ESXi patching.
- Testing of batch jobs/scheduled scripts using process automation tools such as CPO (Cisco Process Orchestrator) and Tidal Scheduler.
- Testing of application/services that integrate with Infra/OS/Network layers.
- Experienced in co-ordination with multiple Vendors, Application owners, testing teams & Business stakeholders for Technical Testing & UAT activities.
- Expertise with Test management tools such as JIRA, QMETRY, and Confluence or similar tools.
- Able to perform feasibility analysis for Infra automation and knowledge of Infra automation frameworks & test suite development would be desirable.
