Job Title: Senior Test Director - Automation Specialist (Selenium)

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Director who is passionate about software quality and has a proven track record of leading successful test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing and managing test automation frameworks, along with a deep understanding of software testing best practices. This role will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our test automation initiatives, leading a team of test automation engineers, and driving continuous improvement in our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Define the strategic vision and roadmap for test automation across the organization, aligning with business objectives and goals.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test frameworks and solutions using Selenium and other industry-leading tools.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of test automation engineers, mentoring junior team members and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and quality assurance to define test automation requirements, priorities, and timelines.
• Establish and maintain best practices, standards, and guidelines for test automation, ensuring consistency and scalability across projects and teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation processes and methodologies, leveraging industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative practices.
• Monitor and analyze test automation metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of testing efforts, providing regular reporting and insights to stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in test automation, sharing knowledge and insights with the broader team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in test automation using Selenium, with a strong understanding of automation frameworks, tools, and techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of test automation engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Deep understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, with experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Strong technical skills in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, as well as experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven track record of driving innovation and continuous improvement in test automation processes and practices.
• ISTQB or similar software testing certification preferred.
