With 13 offices spread across Victoria and NSW, we are seeking a Senior Town Planner or Principal Town Planner to join our established and successful team based in Ballarat.
Your new role
As a leading candidate, you are expected to possess the following qualities:
- Exhibit strong leadership skills in interactions with clients, Council, colleagues, and personnel.
- Mentor and guide junior staff members.
- Thrive in a team environment, offering planning advice, advocacy, and assistance.
- Serve as a representative for our clients at hearings and consultative forums.
- Take charge of project management for both the company and clients.
- Provide direction to clients, Council, and other stakeholders regarding project progress.
- Effectively manage assigned planning applications.
- Engage and oversee subcontractors.
- Deliver quality results within budget and agreed time frames.
- Offer strategic planning support for proposals and projects as needed.
- Prepare submissions/quotations for existing and potential sources of work.
What you'll need to succeed
Possess a degree in Planning.
Ideally, have a minimum of 6 years' experience in the development industry or a related field.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of planning and environmental legislation.
Display proficiency in conducting and comprehending technical analyses.
