With 13 offices spread across Victoria and NSW, we are seeking a Senior Town Planner or Principal Town Planner to join our established and successful team based in Ballarat.

Your new role 

As a leading candidate, you are expected to possess the following qualities:

• Exhibit strong leadership skills in interactions with clients, Council, colleagues, and personnel.
• Mentor and guide junior staff members.
• Thrive in a team environment, offering planning advice, advocacy, and assistance.
• Serve as a representative for our clients at hearings and consultative forums.
• Take charge of project management for both the company and clients.
• Provide direction to clients, Council, and other stakeholders regarding project progress.
• Effectively manage assigned planning applications.
• Engage and oversee subcontractors.
• Deliver quality results within budget and agreed time frames.
• Offer strategic planning support for proposals and projects as needed.
• Prepare submissions/quotations for existing and potential sources of work.

What you'll need to succeed 

 Possess a degree in Planning.

Ideally, have a minimum of 6 years' experience in the development industry or a related field.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of planning and environmental legislation.

Display proficiency in conducting and comprehending technical analyses.
