Key responsibilities involve effectively managing employees and sub-contractors, ensuring optimal resource utilisation, and maintaining a secure, precise, and compliant execution of tasks aligned with customer expectations and legislative requirements.Culture and Benefits

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Organise and coordinate daily (planned and urgent) activities to ensure that work is performed safely, efficiently and in accordance with customer requirements, procedures and relevant legislation
• Compliance to, and enforcement of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Supervise and plan employee schedules to ensure efficient loading, unloading and processing of freight
• Monitoring of staff hours to ensure compliance with fatigue management and safety legislation as well as company policy
• Liaise with customers, operational staff, administration staff and other stakeholders to ensure day to day operations run smoothly
• Monitor and report to management on various KPI's

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in the Transport and Logistics industry
• Ability to think on your feet and adaptable to change
• Effective planning, organising and time management skills
• Ability to work autonomously or within a team
