This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We have an exciting newly created full-time opportunity for an experienced Scheduling and Load Planning Manager to head our scheduling, vehicle planning and Load optimisation team at our Gillman Depot.
Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, this key leadership role is responsible for the effective allocation of the company’s fleet resources, for the implementation of labour and Load Planning strategies and for the identification of any inefficiencies and their rectification through corrective actions with the aim of minimising costs and streamlining operational accountabilities.
About You
We are seeking someone with proven experience within the Transport and Logistics industry who passionately demonstrates a strong commitment to safety whilst being able to develop and mentor operational staff.
Our ideal candidate can demonstrate:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret multiple data sources to strategically inform their decision making.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with cross functional teams to achieve effective operational and customer outcomes.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Technological savviness with proficiency in utilizing data analysis tools and the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs.
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills, to effectively manage competing priorities and projects.
