As the Senior Valuer, you will make land valuations using mass valuation systems for rating and taxing purposes under the Valuation of Land Act, 1916 (ACT) including the more complex, difficult or politically sensitive valuations as directed or supervised in accordance with legislation, delegations, policies and procedures.
The move towards both internally made valuations in addition to external market supported valuations is a good news story for Valuation NSW - with a hybrid approach not only reducing costs of maintaining the valuation system, but also driving diversity of services to the Valuer General of NSW - something that can only further strengthen our already award-winning valuation system.
