We are looking for a passionate, creative professional with a background in managing Restaurant and Bar venues, to join our team as Menzies Venue Manager.
Working with a highly professional and vibrant team, this is a hands-on role and a leadership position within the business. Your passion for service and inspiring customer service will make you the ideal person for this role.
Leading a team of dedicated staff you will work closely with the Shell House management to enhance and grow the clientele and reputation of Menzies Bar & Bistro. This is a leadership role within our group and you will have responsibility for driving revenue, mentoring staff and continual improvement of our overall service and engagement strategy.
ABOUT YOU.
- You are passionate hospitality professional with 3+ years’ experience in restaurant and bar venue management.
- You have a proven ability to lead a large team of staff, made up of section waiters, food runners, bartenders and back of house.
- Known for having a creative approach to business and F&B service, an ability to think outside square and bring new ideas to the table.
- Experience in mentoring, training, and upskilling your team.
- You have a passion for great service with extensive food and wine knowledge.
- An ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and to be innovative in the fulfilment of these needs.
- Previous experience creating staff rosters and managing budgets associated with staffing requirements.
- You have a detailed knowledge of Sydney's CBD Restaurant & Bar scene and the expectations that come with this.
Menzies Bar & Bistro is a unique venue where history, hospitality and good times are woven together to deliver something special to Sydney's CBD. Culinary Director, Joel Bickford and his team have worked to deliver a bistro style menu, inspired by the grand European bistros, that complements our carefully crafted wine and cocktail offering.
