As our Senior Water Resources Officer you will play a crucial role ensuring our community receives a high quality service by efficiently and effectively managing Water Resources, water and wastewater systems, creating and managing infrastructure, oversight of our strategic partners and planning for long term growth and development of the region. In this role you will apply your expertise towards managing water resource modules, complex projects, hydrological modelling, preparing technical reports and identify innovative and practical solutions to enhance the sustainability and reliability of regional Water Resources.
You will be joining our passionate Water & Climate Strategy team committed to delivering positive change by leading the strategic development and planning to all facets of the water cycle, with key considerations given to the impacts of climate change, climate variability, declining water availability, population growth, land use planning and innovation.

Water resource planning and management
Maximise the value of available Water Resources and minimise supply costs
Support Coliban Water’s Water Resources Committee
Engagement and relations with internal and external stakeholders and customers
Development and implementation of water resource projects and preparation of business cases
Water resource reporting
Water resource administration
Compliance with water resource management requirements.
To be considered for this position you will have experience in water resource management and hydrologic modelling, possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of water resource principles, excellent project management capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Salary
The salary and conditions for this position will be as per the Coliban Water Enterprise Agreement 2021 Band 4 $91,714 - $110,681 base salary range will be offered to the successful candidate commensurate with their skills and experience.
