The Role
Reporting to the People Hub Manager, the Senior HR/ People Hub Advisor will deliver customer-centric service excellence of Melbourne Water’s People Operational Services and facilitate a positive employee lifecycle experience for all leaders and employees.
This will be achieved through:
- Providing responsive expert advice and creatively resolving complex issues for all enquiries relating to employment conditions and people processes & procedures.
- Managing the ongoing review and management of all core People Hub processes & procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities that enables integrated and seamless delivery of People Operational Services, including the development of intuitive processes & procedures.
- Acting as the conduit between cross functional stakeholders to build and maintain strong working relationships, and as a trusted advisor for all leaders and employees.
Your Skills and Experience
- Significant demonstrated HR Advisory experience in a range of HR services
- Experience with and knowledge of various HRIS and case management solutions e.g. ServiceNow
- Significant knowledge of workplace People policies and procedures including the ability to review and develop People policies and procedures to ensure they are best practice and are in line with current legislation
- Strong operational process experience and ability to track and record activity to monitor for performance and improvement opportunities
- Relevant experience in Employee Relations intervention and management with demonstrated ability in supporting ER case work.
- Demonstrated experience in performing the role of a 2IC or a team lead role
Your superior communication skills and high-level customer service orientation will be keys to this role.
