Senior Womenswear Buyer- Curve

A very rare and exciting opportunity Buying across all categories to build the Curve range. This is a rare opportunity for a Buyer to work across multi-product. 
  
Work alongside the Design team to develop commercially relevant ranges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clear frameworks for product development aligned with key strategies, encompassing factors such as costing, grading, end use, and trends.
• Consider customer mindset in all markets to deliver commercially viable product ranges.
• Identify and capitalise on new trends and opportunities by sourcing new product categories and factories.
• Analyse trade performance alongside Planners to make informed trading decisions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to minimise lead times and maximise trade.
• Optimise stock holdings by challenging suppliers for repeat dates and suggesting cancellations or reductions to mitigate business risk.
• Ensure ranges adhere to budgeted financial parameters and meet targets.
• Conduct post-season SWOT analysis and develop forward strategies in collaboration with the Planner.
• Critical path analysis to optimise sales and hold suppliers accountable.
• Collaborate with the Planner to ensure appropriate grading and depth of products, providing evidence-based challenges as needed.
• Work with suppliers to overcome constraints and ensure balanced ranges across markets.

About You:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Fashion Design/Buying.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Womenswear Buyer, with experience in Curve/Plus Size or Maternity.
• Experience handling high workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
• Must be a team player and enjoy working closely and collaboratively with other functions of the business
