About the role
This position is a full-time role, requiring the successful candidate to be based in either our West Perth office or one of our Perth based clients.
This role will be in our Service Management area that supports over 40 client implementations and is currently growing.
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team in the Service Management area. As a Senior Developer or Technical Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting over 40 client implementations while improving the teams capability to support and develop PHP based solutions. Your responsibilities include providing technical leadership, mentoring junior developers, scoping work packages, offering advisory services, and developing/supporting custom software solutions. Your primary focus will be on PHP and related web technologies, with opportunities to expand your skills across other domains and technologies. Essential qualifications include WordPress development, PHP proficiency, web front-end development experience, and a willingness to branch out into new technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in dynamic cross-functional teams are essential. Exposure to Drupal, Azure, AWS, and other technologies is highly desirable. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry certifications.
- Software Development: At least 5 years of experience including some time spent in a senior or lead capacity.
- Wordpress Development: At least 3 years of experience.
- PHP Proficiency: A minimum of 3 years of PHP experience.
- Web Frontend Development: You have 2 years of web front-end development experience.
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript: Excellent working knowledge of these essential web technologies.
- Frontend Web Frameworks: Familiarity with frameworks such as React and Angular.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in dynamic teams.
- Complex Systems Design: Proven experience in designing and maintaining complex systems.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Drupal Experience: Exposure to Drupal development.
- Laravel Experience: Exposure to API development with Laravel.
- Web Content Management Platforms: Familiarity with CMS platforms.
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with Azure and AWS.
- Mobile App Development: Exposure to mobile application development.
- Microsoft Ecosystem: Familiarity with Microsoft Development Tools and Technologies.
- SharePoint and MS Dynamics CRM: Exposure to these Microsoft products.
- Graphical Design Tools: Familiarity with tools used for graphical design.
- Continuous Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD tools, especially Azure DevOps
- Agile Environment: Experience working in an agile development environment.
- IT Service Management (ITSM): Exposure to ITSM practices.
