- Leading the management and coordination of Barwon Health's Occupational Health and Safety (WHS) Management System to ensure that Barwon Health meets its legislative obligations and positions itself to achieve its corporate objectives for a safe and healthy workplace.
- Leading the development of a comprehensive WHS, security and emergency risk management framework to prevent injuries and maintain staff health and wellbeing and to provide expert WHS and emergency management advice and guidance to all levels of management, Health and Safety Representatives and employees in order to achieve a safe and healthy workplace.
- Playing a key leadership role in the implementation of a positive organisational safety culture and provide leadership and mentoring to the Barwon Health WHS team.
