About the role

With over 30+ years of Asbestos/Hazmat/Occupational Hygiene experience, Tetra Tech Coffey has developed a reputation as a market leader.

Day-to-day, your role will include:

  • Working with clients to recognise, evaluate and control health hazards to protect workers and improve their workplace
  • Project managing hazardous materials risk assessments and workplace monitoring
  • Producing/reviewing technical reports detailing investigation, risk assessment and practicable solutions for clients
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members and cross-training with other disciplines in the Workplace Health and Safety practice; and
  • Providing specialist hazardous materials/asbestos/occupational hygiene knowledge and solutions

You'll also enjoy coaching by our Principal Occupational Hygienists; periods of travel to service our national portfolio of clients; and opportunities to attend conferences and professional development events.

About you

You'll be a competent, engaging and service-focussed Hazmat/Occupational Hygiene professional with:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry
  • Demonstrated technical skills in the management of hazmat/asbestos/occ. hygiene in property risk and the built environment
  • Sound technical report writing skills
  • Excellent client relationship building skills
  • A team player with a passion for sharing specialist technical knowledge
  • Ideally, you have licenced asbestos assessor (LAA) status and/or provisional membership with AIOH
