Wood is currently searching for talented Engineers and Senior / Lead Engineer to join our Pipelines, Subsea and Marine Terminals consulting team based in Perth CBD in Western Australia, on permanent staff.

- Provide pipeline, subsea or Marine Terminal engineering expertise to support ongoing and new project work
- Leading engineers, team and work scopes that include
- system engineering
- design of pipeline, including routing, mechanical design, lateral buckling, walking, and on-bottom stability
- design of subsea spools and tie-ins
- analyses, calculations and assessment to support pipeline design
- Ensure design optimization and application of appropriate codes / standards
- Assist in developing cost estimates and material take offs for subsea projects
- Contribute and work effectively with project team, project management, and the client as appropriate
- Provide support to multi-discipline engineering team during various phases of project life-cycle
- Develop relevant design reports and drawings and participate in the technical review of design documentation.
- Provide technical assistance, coordination and liaise with other disciplines on all aspects covering technical and general requirements

- Degree in Mechanical / Civil / Structural / Ocean Engineering ideally with recent relevant pipeline, subsea or Marine Terminal sector experience
- 2 - 15 years in subsea engineering
- Conversant with the codes / standards related to pipeline, Subsea and/or Marine Terminals
- Consultancy experience ideal, with an ability to work in multi discipline engineering team for conceptual studies, FEED and detailed engineering
- Demonstrated effective technical report writing and communication skills
- Ability to form strong workable relationships with both internal stakeholders and external parties including clients
- Keen interest in resolving technical ambiguity, trouble shooting and problem resolution
