The Role -*BASED IN OUR ADELAIDE or SYDNEY OFFICE*
You will provide expertise and technical authority of Electrical Engineering studies for substations and renewables such as: Earthing & Lightning, HV & LV Cable modelling, Induction & EMF, Insulation Co-ordination, Arc flash, Lightning, Utility solar performance modelling & lighting. Along with that, you will also provide design support & oversight for Utility solar detailed designs and HV major plant specifications and procurement.
Mentor and develop engineers within the Electrical Engineering discipline, as well as lead the development and delivery of processes, procedures and templates to improve the efficiency and quality of engineering output. You will have a key working relationship with the business development team supporting complex projects to ensure optimal solutions by assisting in preparation of conceptual designs, estimates and project proposals.
What you will need:
- University degree in Engineering.
- Hands on expertise with the relevant software platforms.
- Strong knowledge and experience of substation secondary & protection systems.
- Strong experience within substation or renewable energy.
- Project and Design Leadership / Management experience.
- Strong written and oral communication & interpersonal skills.
