Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) are looking for a Sentence Planning Coordinator to join our team in Woodford Correctional Centre, where your coordination management and administrative capabilities will play an important role in running our Sentence Management Services’ day-to-day operations.
Utilise your service delivery, supervisory and compliance skills to successfully make a positive impact within QCS’ Specialist Operations Command.
About the Opportunity:
As the Sentence Planning Coordinator, you will have ownership of various Sentence Management functions. You will have the opportunity to assess prisoners, oversee small work units and provide expert parole board reports and correspondence to key stakeholders. This role would be suited to an experienced professional who wishes to build their knowledge within the criminal justice system and contribute to developing local work practices for continuous improvement and a safer Queensland.
About You:
We are looking for individuals who have:
An understanding of the criminal justice system or possess relevant work experience.
Excellent communication, planning and attention to detail skills.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff.
Experience preparing and delivering complex reports for internal and external stakeholders.
