We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Service Advisor to join our client, a family-owned business that puts their people and customers first. A rare gem to work for located in Rossmore.
About the role
Service Advisor is the main point of contact between the customer and to the sales and repair department. To ensure customer relationships are developed and maintained through the efficient provision of service.
Duties
- Scheduling customer service repair orders, obtaining a clear brief from the customer as to any issues
- Keep a close eye on the progress through the Workshop.
- Preparing invoices and closing allocated repairs
- Maintain contact with customers throughout the day
- Quote customers on recommended repairs
- Ordering parts accordingly
- Ensuring the customers' expectations are exceeded
- Assisting Workshop Manager in resolving any customer-related concerns
- Processing payments of cash, cheque and Eftpos daily
- Demonstrates solid organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in light or heavy vehicles
- Motivated to always provide exceptional customer service.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Microsoft office skills.
- Requires a proactive attitude to working in a team environment and a pleasant telephone manner.
- Ability to prepare and present business proposals and contracts.
