Customer Service and Ordering Supervisor

As a Customer Service and Ordering Supervisor, you’ll be an integral part of leading our customer service team all whilst ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and efficient.

Role Overview:

As the Customer Service and Ordering Supervisor, you’ll wear many hats. Your primary focus will be on leading and motivating our customer service team to provide outstanding support. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Manage a team of customer service representatives.
  • Set performance goals and provide regular feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee order processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle escalated customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes.
  • Assist in maintaining superior levels of customer Service and professionalism.

    Training and Development:

  • Train new hires on company policies, procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Conduct ongoing feedback to enhance team skills and operational performance.

    Customer Satisfaction:

  • Monitor customer interactions and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns professionally.

    Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for improvement in customer service workflows.
  • Propose and implement process enhancements.

    Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and resolutions.
  • Provide sales support including reports, discounts, pricing and promotional activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role or leadership within customer service.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication (both written and verbal).
    • Excellent organisational abilities.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with standard office practices.
