AddressWe are currently seeking a Service & Repair Technician. This role will perform servicing and Repair of airless spray paint machines in our Belmont Spray Service Centre. We will consider both full-time and part-time applicants.
If you have a can-do attitude, good hands-on mechanical / electrical repair aptitude, demonstrated ability to problem solve and have excellent customer service skills you are the person we are seeking.

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Repair Technician or spray paint experience in the decorative paint industry and will be willing to contribute to the wider business success by undertaking other store duties (including deliveries and some paint sales).
We will offer training, accreditation and qualification opportunities and on-going coaching to the successful applicant to build their skills and knowledge and their career as a Repair Technician.
A full-time 38 hour working week is offered, alternatively part-time hours can be negotiated. A competitive above award salary in line with the applicant’s skills and experience will be paid.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking spray-gun maintenance and Repairs
- Scheduling workshop work demands
- Managing customer relationships and expectations in regards to spray machine services/repairs
- Itemising costs and preparing invoices for customer and store records
- Supporting the retail store when required
- Ensuring Workplace Health & Safety requirements are met
Experience / Attributes
- Experience and/or qualifications in spray-gun repair/servicing will be highly regarded but not essential
- A background in a machine repair, sales and/or customer service role would be an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve
- A willingness to learn and continuously improve
- Able to contribute and work in a small team environment
- A current driver’s licence is essential
- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Basic computer skills
- This role involves some heavy lifting up to 25kgs
