Service Delivery Improvement Manager – Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane

What you’ll do

You will lead the Service Delivery Improvement team and have ownership to drive the efficiency and effectiveness for service operations enabling highly available platforms, products and services that are accessible and performing effectively to Tabcorp’s Business.

Reporting to the Head of Support and Service Management, you will identify, develop, and lead implementation of Service Delivery Improvement initiatives via the Operational Excellence strategic objectives. You will drive these initiatives across the entire Technology Business Unit teams to provide Tabcorp with a secure and robust service for all major services, 24/7/365 across all geographic locations.

Key accountabilities –

Analyse existing business processes, systems and other functional requirements and recommend improvements to enhance business operations and performance
Partner with vendors and suppliers to provide subject matter expertise.
Lead change management of improvement initiatives.
Facilitate and lead training and change management of improvement initiatives.
Be a purpose and valued-led leader, focussed on enhancing your team’s employee experience.
Collaborate with your stakeholders and peers to ensure the strategy remains business and technology aligned and enabled.
Lead your team to act as advocates for ITIL process adoption, training and education across Technology. Indirectly lead and influence technology teams from all disciplines.
Coordinate activities between multiple support groups to ensure adherence to Service Management disciplines.
Manage the Operational Excellence initiatives across Technology and drive tangible outputs and benefits which are tracked and quantified.
Ensure all services meet security and risk compliance aligned to the standards outlined by the Tabcorp Technology Security group.

What you’ll bring

Extensive experience in technology with strong experience in Service Delivery Management working in a complex enterprise with 24/7/365 services, including servicing customer facing platforms.
Extensive operational experience in supporting large and complex environments, implementing strategy, and managing vendors and suppliers.
Demonstrated success in delivering process improvement solutions, including the facilitation of process redesign and requirements gathering workshops.
Proven experience implementing improvement initiatives promoting quality assurance and consistency.
Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including conducting detailed investigations and written reports.
Experienced in agile, lean, DevOps, and other best (and next) practice.
Experience working with a variety of supplier / resource models, including matrix, managed services, and multiple suppliers.
ISO 27001 & 9001 audit knowledge.
Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships across business and technology teams.
