About the Position:
The Service Delivery Manager (SDM) will overseethe performance of our teams across the region in our SupportedIndependent Living Accommodation (SIL) and High Drop-in Supportcustomers. You will oversee staff performance and ensure that staffare engaging with customers and are following any behaviour supportplans, IPRP's, medical requirements and personal care to ensurecustomer, staff and community safety and wellbeing.
This position will implement policies and procedures directedthrough Head Office and maintain NDIS standards to ensure acompliant environment across the region. You will develop costeffective SIL Rosters of Care and manage the delivery of servicesto ensure participants, services and business plan goals areachieved.
You will be responsible for new customer transitions andexisting customer relocations including, staff training, organisingaids/equipment, mandatory documents, customer/family communication,rosters/roster adjustments, OT assessments, house modifications andphysically assisting with the move as required.
About You:
- Extensive experience in the Community Services sector
- Previous experience leading/managing teams is highlyregarded
- Previous experience in disability (group home environment) ishighly regarded
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively influenceothers
- Experience in conflict resolution and difficultconversations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a regionwith varying priorities
- Ability to analyse processes and make recommendations forprocedure development and process improvement
- Experience within the NDIS sector OR transferable skills arealso highly regarded
- Ability to obtain Working With Vulnerable People Check Tasmaniaprior to commencement
- Ability to obtain Registration to Work With VulnerablePeople/Working With Children Registration Tasmania prior tocommencement
- Complete a National Criminal History Check (paid byKirinari)
- Current Drivers License
