- Influence and shape Product digital services by advocating for a human-centred approach
- Manage stakeholder relationships, facilitating difficult and complex discussions and guiding collaborative processes to support the delivery of Product digital services.
- Work to understand end-user cohorts and their needs, documenting Personas and linking them to Scenarios in our Dev/Ops tool
- Prepare a User Centred Design guidebook for development teams and provide process checks and support to ensure good practice is applied
- Manage user research and end-user system testing
- Evaluate exiting user interfaces (including printed materials such as Letters and Notices) and identify opportunities for improvement – make complex and tax-technical (legislative) information simple and accessible
- Provide progress reports as directed
- Work across multiple projects and business-as-usual activities simultaneously (a matrix environment)
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in User Centred Design activities;
- A strong and recent background in designing transformative digital services;
- Highly effective communicator with both business and ICT personnel;
- Recent experience in designing digital business solutions delivered in any of the following would be highly regarded:
- Experience in use of design systems such as ACT Government Website Design System
- Reactive and responsive web component development
- OutSystems Platform-as-a-Service (or other low-code platforms)
- Agile software delivery methodologies
- MS Dev/Ops
