Service Designer
We are seeking talented Service Designers to join our multi-disciplinary teams. Your mission: to reshape how government services are designed and delivered, making them more user-centric, efficient, and impactful. Your work will directly contribute to significant digital business and service reforms, influencing key priorities at various levels of government.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Service Design: Craft seamless user journeys across transactions, products, content, and business processes.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work with user researchers and stakeholders to develop a cohesive strategic vision.
- Concept Prototyping: Identify and prototype transformative service concepts based on user needs.
- Agile Methodologies: Deliver design and research activities in an agile manner.
- Standards Compliance: Adhere to the Service Design and Delivery Process and Digital Service Standard.
- User Experience Development: Create effective and inclusive user experiences.
Skills & Experience:
- Service Design Expertise: Extensive experience in service design for large-scale transformations.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrable experience in solving complex problems using evidence, analysis, and investigation.
- Agile Experience: Proven track record of working in agile, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Human-Centred Design: Strong focus on user-centric service delivery.
- Effective Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stakeholder Influence: Skilled in influencing and guiding senior stakeholder decisions.
- Visual Communication: Expertise in creating journey maps, user scenarios, and concept visuals.
- Prototyping: Exceptional ability to prototype and test concepts.
- Contextual Understanding: Strong grasp of the social and digital context for transformation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborative team player.
- Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline
Location: ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, VIC
Working Arrangements: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office.
Estimated Start Date: Monday, 15 July 2024
Initial Contract Duration: 12 months
Extension Term: 6 months
