About the Role
Pickles is seeking a customer service-oriented IT Service Desk Analyst to join our dynamic Service Desk team for a 6 month contract. This position operates Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) and offers the flexibility of Hybrid working. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and diagnosing issues and problems
- Categorizing and recording reported queries, and providing effective solutions
- Ensuring end-to-end service delivery for digital workplace devices and their enablement
- Providing essential remote desktop support for IT Service Desk incidents
- Monitoring issues from inception to resolution
- Managing escalations efficiently to ensure timely resolution and appropriate customer communications
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Strong written, verbal communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with Helpdesk Ticketing Systems like ServiceNow
- The ability to probe and troubleshoot issues, understanding customer needs, and setting expectations as per SLA
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, hardware troubleshooting, software installation/removal, printer setup, Windows OS, Cisco, Zoom phone, and basic networking
- Familiarity with ITIL and MacOS (preferred but not mandatory)
- Capability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision
