As part of their growing team they want a passionate customer focused Level 1-2 Technical Support Engineer to work within their close-knit team working with the latest technologies.
The Role:
In this role you will work internal stakeholders and support the businesses IT across system, networks and hardware. The role will be technically focus with respect to Level 1 and 2 support with growth into L3 support across 365, Azure, Windows, mobility and all systems and network related issues.
Through working closely, the internal stakeholders, technical leadership, you will ensure the integrity and smooth running of the services desk and all systems and networks relating to the day to day running as well as projects happening in the business. Where required your experience and knowledge will also be looked upon to provide insights around the direction in which the business’s support functions continue to develop.
Skills/Experience:
- Set up of new users and support the existing BAU IT operations
- Have good knowledge and experience in Technical level 1, 2 related support
- Windows, AD, Exchange and O365 experience.
- Proven ability to install and maintain IT hardware and software (Nice to have)
- Build and configuration of servers and deploying of servers on site (Nice to have)
- Administration of the Groups, Active Directory environment
- Completion of Change request forms and project documentation
- Administration of Exchange online/O365.(Nice to have)
- Administer and maintain the company’s backup platform
- Ability to administer new platforms quickly and to work with systems administration tool
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures in all relevant areas of IT
- Contribute ideas towards process improvement/enhancement
