Chemtronics Biomedical Engineering, part of CTG, currently has vacancy for a Service Engineer located in Mount Waverley. The successful applicant will use their skills to troubleshoot, repair and perform scheduled maintenance on a range of electro-medical, mechanical-medical and gas therapy equipment within the workshop.

Responsibilities include the minimisation of operational downtime through preventative maintenance and servicing; and working to ensure the contractual obligations and relevant Australian Standards are met.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Tertiary, technical or trade qualification in an Electronic or Biomedical Engineering discipline;
• At least 1 year of previous technical hands-on service experience in the repair and service of Medical, Electronic, Electro-Mechanical equipment;
• Strong PC and MS Office literacy; ability to enter work performed into a database in a timely manner;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Self-motivation and a commitment to continuous improvement;
• An organised and pro-active approach to work;
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid VIC driver’s licence
