We are thrilled to welcome a vibrant Service Manager service located in Baldivis, where we create a supportive and stimulating environment for children to thrive. With a 104 place count, our service offers bright and spacious learning areas, as well as large and natural outdoor play areas.

As the Service Manager, you will play a vital position in shaping the educational journey of children while providing leadership and guidance to a team of passionate educators. Your role will involve creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow.

Essential Qualifications:

• A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to maintain one.
• First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Essential Skills and Attributes:

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to ensure quality practices and outcomes for children.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and manage a team of educators, ensuring optimal performance and staff retention.
• Capability to handle day-to-day operations, including staffing, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with the Education and Care Services National Law and National Regulations, ensuring the Service remains compliant.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with families, staff, regulatory bodies and the broader community.
• Ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience in a previous Service Manager, Centre Director, Centre Manager role or similar.
• Skills to address and resolve conflicts or challenges that may arise among staff or with families.
• Experience in budgeting, financial planning and resource management.
• Ability to utilize relevant software for management, communication, and reporting purposes.
• A commitment to ongoing training and development to stay updated with sector changes and best practices.
