As Woodside's Australian projects continue to evolve, a position has arisen for an experienced Subsea Engineer to join the Team, based in the Perth office.
The role will need to lead subsea activities, including the planning and execution of all subsea well construction activities across GWS operations within region of responsibility. Furthermore, you will also need to provide Subsea Engineering expertise and technical leadership for subsea projects and peer reviews across the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivery of all subsea well construction activities including subsea upper completion installation, tubing hanger installation, XT installation
- Inform and influence execution strategy for subsea completions including scope allocation between MODU, LWIV and subsea installation vessel
- Ensure all operations are undertaken safely and efficiently, risks managed, learnings are captured, and improvements implemented
- Manage interfaces between subsea completion equipment and rig
- Manage interface with SSPL function for coordination of installed equipment delivery and management
- Manage interface with SSPL function for supply of temporary equipment including well control equipment.
- Verification and assurance of subsea well completion activity
REQUIREMENTS
- +10 years’ experience, with +3 year in operations
- Experience in a related discipline (Drilling / Subsea/ Production Eng.) preferred
- Engineering degree.
- Drilling, completion, and intervention technical courses.
