The Role:

Based in our Newcastle facility, we have a unique opportunity for a Service Manager within our Fixed Facilities department to be at the forefront of our operations, driving efficiencies and results across all facets of the branch.

This role will actively ensure we deliver our products and services on time to the customer for installations, inspection and testing of essential fire safety measures, and will require a mixture of time in the office, field and focusing on customer engagement.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing operations in accordance with site requirements, leading client contract meetings and actions.
• Job management process including service, installations and repair data via Simpro
• Lead, mentor, train and supervise your team and ensure consistency of processes and procedures.
• Accountable for the overall leadership, budget, safety and performance of your team.

Our ideal candidate will have 

• Experience in managing a fire service department
• Sound knowledge across relevant building codes and Australian Standards 
• Understanding and knowledge of Fire Protection Systems and maintenance practices 
• Strong people management skills
• Proven ability to effectively manage and lead a team
• Experience with monthly forecasting & reporting
• Ability to manage targets for sales and profit
• Valid Australian drivers’ licence
