About the Role
Service Manager is a key strategic position within Moonlight Care that will be responsible to grow and develop values to deliver outstanding client service to achieve growth targets. You will lead the growth, development and be an integral member of the Moonlight Care Team that will provide strategic and operational expertise.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service Delivery
The SM must:
-Ensure high quality services are delivered to client's needs and goals.
-Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
-Provide leadership and supervision that promote a respectful work environment, maintain client focus, model Moonlight Care values and positive team interactions.
-Develop and maintain operational and administrative systems to support effective management of high-quality service delivery.
-Ensure feedback from clients, recommend, and implement changes to services as appropriate.
-Undertake reviews and audits of SIL services.
SIL/SDA Expansion
The SM will:
-Expand Moonlight Care’s SIL Property portfolio; source and match new clients with Moonlight Care SIL homes.
-Keep abreast of changes to NDIS-funded accommodation options to determine suitability for Moonlight Care expansion for existing and future clients.
-Liaise with relevant organizations to gather insights into market developments.
-Develop and implement SIL business development plans to increase Moonlight Care’s SIL brand awareness and client preference for Moonlight Care various services.
-Be proactive with stakeholder engagement; develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals in the NDIS, government agencies.
-Influence client preference through maintaining positive relationships with prospective clients.
-Respond to client needs to develop service proposals and quotations that are client focussed and ‘fit for purpose’.
-Promote and build strategic alliances to enhance the organization’s reputation.
-Identify and develop opportunities to position Moonlight Care as a leading service provider in the SIL market.
Maximise outcomes through effective supervision and staff development
The SM will:
-Develop SIL teams with a commitment to shared values.
-Mentor SIL teams to develop their support, communication, and reporting skills
-Demonstrate initiative in anticipating and responding to trends and events.
-Demonstrate organizational values.
-Ensure all actions reflect personal credibility and ethical practice.
-Provide supervision to subordinates and encourage responsibility and self-awareness.
-Develop knowledge and skills to enhance NDIS pricing, quoting, billing and service agreements.
-Effectively communicate issues to stakeholders.
Services and support are developed and improved
The SM is responsible to:
-Provide support with development of submissions, tenders, costings, and periodic external audits of systems
-Foster innovation through development and support of improved systems.
-Explore opportunities to maximize the development of alliances and partnerships with government and community agencies, businesses and community members.
-Provide leadership and supervision to other areas of organisation.
Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated business acumen and experience in scaling a segment of a business.
2. Established network within the disabilities industry and related agencies.
3. Proven experience of successful leading and managing of services and programs.
4. Sound understanding of service delivery in the disability sector, legislative requirements and of key issues operating.
5. Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
6. Superior interpersonal and communications skills and highly developed written skills and the ability to form positive working relationships.
7. Highly proficient in cloud-based computing and client record management systems.
8. Relevant qualification in the sector
9. Current Driver's License and the ability to maintain a clear Working with Children and Check and National Police Clearance.
