An excellent career opportunity exists within our Industrial Service and Equipment team for an enthusiastic, motivated Service Project Manager to join our team based in Canning Vale.
The purpose of this role is to deliver Industrial Service Projects including Modernization products to a variety of customers and industries within the defined region.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of the Western Australia Store in order to continuously improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the service operation.
- On- time delivery of Service Projects in accordance with the contract/ scope of works
- Financial result of the project (keeping or improving the project's margin)
- Manage all customer issues and customer satisfaction
- Ensure all progress payments are made within contractual timelines by the customers.
- Ensure that all subcontractors are compliant according to Konecranes and Demag Health, Safety and Environment instructions and other relevant instructions.
- Participate in initial risk assessment as required to ensure scope is within the company's capability of delivery with low to no risk.
- Assist in reviewing of offer/tender prepared by Sales Team for all Service Project related enquiries prior to sales submitting to the Client.
- Manage overall quality of project deliverables
- Execute project purchasing with all relevant documentation/information according to plan and follow-up supplier progress, solve discrepancies and report deviations
- Reconcile invoices to purchase orders
- Ensure all purchased components are checked and received upon delivery for damage and to ensure all materials received.
- Document changes during the project and ensure variations are formally requested when required for both time extension or additional costs.
- Provide support to the supervisor and supervision to members of the project team
- Planning and managing the site works & commissioning in detail including safety plans, mobilization and inductions.
- Conduct Safe Act Observations
About you
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Completion of Project Management Qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrates superior oral and written communications skills
- Proficient with computer programs including SAP, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and work independently
- Have a positive attitude and can-do approach to tasks
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
