About The Role:Service Quality Officer is responsible for undertaking scheduled inspections of building maintenance projects and services, to ensure works delivered by contractors achieve specified contractual outcomes in terms of scope and quality of workmanship. The Service Quality Officer will work autonomously to provide technical advice and assistance to client agencies, participate in work quality audits and provide technical reports on the outcomes of inspections and audits.Manager Service Quality is responsible for managing a small team of Service Quality Officers who undertake scheduled inspections of building maintenance projects and services to ensure works delivered by contractors achieve specified contractual outcomes in terms of scope and quality of workmanship. The role manages building inspection reporting, assesses quality information, and monitors maintenance project outcomes for client agencies. The position ensures compliance with the Australian building standards and codes and the Department of Finance’s (Finance) standards, processes and procedures. This position is responsible for providing professional advice and guidance and building and maintaining productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.About You:Service Quality Officer operates in a context. This means that you will demonstrate personal accountability for delivering excellence and support your team and agency in delivering strategic goals. We are looking for someone skilled at building and nurturing relationships and willing to seek feedback and learn.Manager Service Quality operates in the context of . You will be required to motivate and enable others to deliver high quality work. You will balance time between doing the work and coaching, guiding and developing others.
