This opportunity will be based in Kununurra, the adventure hub of the Kimberley, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, rock formations, and waterways. Kununurra is the epicentre of exploration and is surrounded by ‘must see’ wonders. Lake Argyle and the Ord River offers sunset cruises, boat hire, water sports and fishing activities, similarly breathtaking walking trails through the UNESCO Bungle Bungle range, Mirima National Park, and local waterfalls offer great photo opportunities and swimming spots for Kununurra residents.
The established town offers everything you could need, with restaurants, medical centres, sport and recreation facilities, and even an outdoor drive-in theatre to view the stars with your film.
About the Role:
The role of Freshwater’s Guest Services Agent is dynamic and varied and is responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience from our guests first point of contact with our property, through to post departure.
Your duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for all aspects of reservations and guest check-ins and check-outs
- Guest services, including providing advice on local tours, general information, problem solving, handling complaint and feedback
- Anticipate and coordinate the needs of guests to provide a high level of guest satisfaction, including airport transfers
- Coordinate and oversee daily office operations, shift procedures, and opening and closing of reception
- Assist with daily filing, reporting, payment processing and general accounting
- Provide support to Housekeeping team as required
- Assist with the directions of all visitors and contractors as well as permanent apartment property management
- On-Call when required, approximately one night per week

- A team player who is self-motivated and possess a positive outlook with leadership experience and traits
- Warm and welcoming, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer literate, with experience in reservations / room management and scheduling preferred
- Professional, organised and proficient in all duties with a keen attention to detail.
- Flexible with work hours and shifts, and able to be on-call approximately 1 night per week. Some weekend work will be required
- Able to function well in a busy environment
- A current “C” Class Driver's Licence is required
