Your responsibilities and tasks:
Key Responsibilities
Selling maintenance, parts, service level agreements, upgrades and modifications to customers with GEA original manufactured equipment.
Sell spare parts off the back of projects.
Early engagement to maximise service and spares opportunities (ideally at quoting stage).
Selling service for components where we have service capability and technical knowledge.
Identifying potential new business.
Identify business development and ‘add-on’ sales opportunities as they relate to specific Service Sales.
To actively promote the company and its service whenever talking to current or potential customers.
Assist new machine and system sales in establishing service requirements for new enquiries.
Undertake regular Customer Visits.
Develop Service Sales Plan by Site in order for service to be proactive on current installed base.
Review shutdowns with customers.
Responsible for ensuring all offers to customers are compliant from a health and safety perspective.
Assist with the preparation of quotes.
Aim to develop key client relationships on projects with a view to establishing long term business opportunities.
Perform site services and callouts when requested.
Ensure that site induction rules are followed. JSA’s and risk analysis forms are completed diligently and signed off prior to any service work commencing.
Support projects during warranty period.
Undertake all necessary training as required.
Actively learn and participate in OHS rules and guidelines.
Regular local, interstate travel and international travel, as required.
Undertaking other activities that will assist GEA Service in its overall performance and operation.
Manage any variations to service jobs.
Review service reports and send to customer.
Review job costs and invoicing.
Debt collecting as required.
Ensuring all sales admin tools (CRM) are used in the best possible way.
Effective handover of order execution phase with regards to costs, margins, planning and risks.
Complete service requisition and handover to service execution.
Provide information to service execution in a timely manner to enable planning services and assist where required.
Attend and present at regular Service Sales meetings.
Co-operating with other departments within the company such as Accounts, Administration and the Stores to allow these departments to carry out their duties efficiently.
Meet sales budgets and management assigned targets
Costing and quoting service jobs, workshop jobs and spare parts sales
Your profile and qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role is preferred
Trade qualifications or engineering background would be preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets and goals
Proficient in using CRM software would be an advantage
